As part of the University Leadership Development and Qualification Project, and under the guidance of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, a number of faculty members from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala participated in the second training course for 2025. This course was designed to develop the financial skills of department and division heads at the university.
The course focused on a number of important topics that contribute to enhancing financial and administrative performance within academic institutions, including: the unified accounting system, budget preparation, internal auditing and control, inventory management, and concepts of financial management and analysis.

This course is part of a series of training programs aimed at enhancing the efficiency of administrative and financial cadres at universities and enabling them to apply the best modern practices in managing resources efficiently and transparently, keeping pace with the requirements of the current phase of reform and development in higher education.
