As part of the approved procedures for admission to postgraduate studies (Master’s), the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Karbala, began today conducting personal interviews for applicants after they have taken the competitive examination. The interviews were conducted by specialized scientific committees in the relevant departments.
The interviews were conducted by faculty members from the following departments:
🔹 Department of Internal Medicine
🔹 Department of Public Health
🔹 Department of Histology and Anatomy
🔹 Department of Physiology
The interviews focused on assessing the applicants’ academic and scientific background and suitability for the research program, in addition to their personal qualities and analytical abilities.
Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Asaad Al-Kaabi, Dean of the College, emphasized that this step represents an essential part of the rigorous selection criteria for students, ensuring the admission of qualified personnel capable of effectively contributing to the field of scientific research and specific academic specialization.
