The past days witnessed the active participation of the college’s faculty and students in providing field services to the visitors heading towards Karbala to commemorate the 10th of Muharram 1447 A.H. The contribution included the distribution of water, juices and meals in various areas, especially the entrances to the city from the direction of Musayyib district, in a scene that expresses the depth of belonging to the line of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and the approach of Husseini giving.

As part of the campaign, awareness brochures on common diseases between humans and animals, especially hemorrhagic fever, were distributed in order to raise health awareness among visitors and workers in the processions and provide preventive guidelines in light of the great human momentum.

Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al Kaabi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, stressed that these efforts fall within the community plan of the College of Veterinary Medicine to enhance health awareness, serve visitors and consolidate the culture of volunteering, praising the positive interaction and the high sense of humanity shown by the participants from the academic staff and students.
