Professors of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine continue field supervision of the fourth stage students’ training

As part of the summer training program, the professors of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University continue their field supervision of the fourth stage students in the General Veterinary Hospital and Husseiniya Veterinary Clinic in the holy province of Karbala.

This comes within the framework of the college’s efforts to enhance the practical aspect and link theoretical knowledge to clinical application by involving students in dealing directly with realistic veterinary cases under the supervision of specialized cadres.

The follow-up focused on evaluating the students’ performance in clinical examinations and applying therapeutic protocols while providing the necessary scientific guidance to develop their professional competence and prepare them for the labor market.

Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asad Al Kaabi, Dean of the College, stressed that field training is one of the main pillars in preparing a qualified veterinarian, pointing out the college’s keenness to provide an integrated training environment that enhances students’ skills and keeps pace with the requirements of the profession, adding:
“We are committed to providing practical educational opportunities that guarantee our students a real training experience that elevates their scientific and professional level and contributes to building a veterinary cadre capable of serving the community and protecting livestock.”

This program is implemented under the direct supervision of the Deanship of the College and with field follow-up from the Summer Training Unit and in coordination with the General Veterinary Hospital and its affiliated clinics inside and outside the governorate, in line with the objectives of the College in supporting the veterinary sector and providing sustainable community services.
