The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the launch of the online application portal for the Holy Quran memorization channel for graduates of the preparatory school in all its branches and disciplines.
The application will start from Wednesday 23 July 2025 via the Studies, Planning and Follow-up portal click here and will continue until the end of the official working day on Sunday 24 August 2025.
The application includes students continuing to study at public and private universities for all stages and students who graduated from the preparatory school in 2025/2024 in all its branches and specialisations from memorizing the Holy Quran in its entirety.
The Ministry invites applicants to follow the official website of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to announce the results of the test of students who memorise the Holy Quran sent by a specialized committee that includes international referees who take the test in the following indicative locations:
1- The National Centre for Quranic Sciences in Baghdad / Palestine Street / near the Turkmen Club to test students from the governorates of (Baghdad, Salah al-Din, Nineveh, Kirkuk, Diyala) (males and females).
2- Dar Al-Quran in Karbala to test students from the central and southern governorates (females)
3- The Holy Quran Institute of the Abbasiya Shrine in Najaf Al-Ashraf to test students from the central and southern governorates (males).
It is worth mentioning that the Holy Quran memorization channel includes the privilege of reducing the tuition fees for students who memorize the Holy Quran accepted and continuing within the private government university education channel by (30%) and reducing the tuition fees by (50%) for students accepted and continuing in the evening study, in addition to exempting students accepted and continuing in the private university education channel from tuition fees after an annual test is conducted at the beginning of each academic year by the competent committee to ensure that the student continues to memorize the Holy Quran completely while the privilege includes allocating (2%) of the central admission seats with a rate less than (3).
