Our Labs Speak | Anatomy and Histology Lab Where science comes to life.

Within the academic structure of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine – Kerbala University, the anatomy and histology laboratory occupies a pivotal position in supporting the educational process and represents an essential station in the students’ journey towards understanding the depths of the animal’s physical structure and examining the finest details of the cellular tissue under the lenses of the microscope.

The laboratory is one of the most important scientific facilities that enable students to move from dry theories to tangible understanding, providing an integrated learning environment that relies on modern technologies, high-quality anatomical models and professionally prepared tissue slides that allow students to view cells and tissues of all kinds.

Under the direct supervision of specialised professors and skilled technicians, this laboratory becomes an interactive scientific environment in which students are prepared and trained to handle specimens, use microscopes and read histological characteristics accurately, thus enhancing their diagnostic and scientific capabilities in the advanced stages of their veterinary studies.

The anatomy and histology laboratory receives special attention from the deanship of the college as part of a strategic plan aimed at developing the infrastructure of laboratories and modernising practical education tools in line with modern academic standards and international programmes in veterinary education.

It is not just a laboratory. It is a specialised scientific space where thought is refined, skill is built and passion is cultivated.
