A number of students from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine / Karbala University participated in a training workshop organised by the White Hands volunteer team on first aid skills in preparation for participating in the visitor service detachments during the Arbaeen visit.
The workshop included theoretical and practical training on dealing with emergency cases such as fainting, suturing wounds and measuring blood pressure in order to enhance the readiness of students to contribute to supporting health efforts during the visit.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr Mohammed Asaad Al Kaabi, said that this initiative is part of the college’s plan to enhance the applied and voluntary aspect among students, praising their effective humanitarian role.
The students expressed their thanks to the college and the organisers, stressing that this experience contributed to developing their skills and enhancing the values of community service.
