The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the launch of the online application for the Iraqi Flag Day Awards, which will run until Sunday, 10 August 2025.
This year’s competitive submission areas include a number of different awards:

▪️ Outstanding Book Award
▪️ Outstanding Scientific Journal Award
▪️ Group Voluntary Work Award for Undergraduate Students
▪️ Patents and Intellectual Property Award
▪️ Outstanding Graduation Project Award
▪️ Outstanding Research Centre Award
▪️ Outstanding Research Unit Award
▪️ Distinguished University Library Award
As part of its international partnership with Clarivate, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research confirms that for the first time it will use Web of Science data to determine the winners of the Outstanding Research Award, Outstanding Researcher Award, Outstanding University Research Award and Outstanding Research Evaluators Award.
The Ministry clarifies that only students and affiliates of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research are eligible to apply click here and that the nominated works must be from the year 2024.
