Kerbala University’s college of Veterinary Medicine defends a master’s thesis evaluate histological and histochemical changes in some vital organs in dogs with hyperchloremic acidosis.

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University defended a master’s thesis by Maryam Mohammad Dehri, from the Anatomy and Histology Department, on the evaluation of histopathological and histochemical changes in some vital organs in dogs with hyperchloric acidosis.

The study aimed to shed light on the pathological changes induced by hyperchloramic acidosis in vital tissues using histological examination techniques and special chemical stains to assess the impact of this condition on organ function.

The results showed clear histological and histochemical changes indicating the negative impact of acidosis on the histological structure of organs.

The discussion committee was chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr Mohammed Asad Al Kaabi, who praised the efforts of the student and the level of the research, stressing the college’s continuous support for scientific research in the field of veterinary medicine.
