The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr Naim Al-Aboudi, has approved the university calendar for the academic year 2026/2025 for initial studies in public and private universities for stages above the first.
The university calendar set the start date of the academic year for the stages above the first stage as of Sunday, 21 September 2025 for the first semester, which lasts for fifteen weeks, while the second semester will start on Sunday, 2026/2/1.
