The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi has decided to consider the 2025/2024 academic year as a non-failing year for students who will be enrolled in primary education.
The text of the decision states: In order to ensure the future of our students and to address the special cases of those who were unable to successfully complete the 2025/2024 academic year due to their academic circumstances it has been decided that the 2025/2024 academic year will be considered a non-failing year for students who will be enrolled in primary studies (morning and evening) and in all approved study systems for the aforementioned year.
The decision clarified that this measure does not include students who have already completed their studies and who were covered by the Ministry’s letter No. (M 5/5660) dated 30/4/2025. Nor does it apply to cases where the suspension of enrolment is the result of cheating, disciplinary penalties or forgery, in accordance with the provisions of the current examination regulations No. (134) of 2000 and its amendments.
