Professor Dr Kazim Saleh Kazim a lecturer at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine University of Kerbala participated as a member of the discussion committee for the thesis of a postgraduate student (Suja Karim Najman) at the University of Wasit / Faculty of Science, entitled:
‘A comparative histological study of local and imported poultry meat’.
The study aimed to compare local and imported frozen chicken meat in terms of total protein content and contamination with cadmium and lead. The results showed that local meat was superior in terms of nutritional value and contamination rate as freezing has a negative effect on meat quality.
