Stepping towards applied education, the College of Veterinary Medicine organizes a specialized course on the use of artificial insemination devices in cows.

As part of the implementation of the programs of the National Strategy for Education and Higher Education 2022–2031, the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala through the Qualification, Employment, and Graduate Follow-up Unit, and in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a training course entitled:
“Basics of Using the Artificial Insemination Device in Cows (Cattle Visual Insemination)” under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Asaad Al-Kaabi.

The course aimed to introduce students to modern techniques in the field of animal reproduction and highlight the importance of the artificial insemination device in increasing insemination success rates and improving the efficiency of animal production, through practical field training on the operation of the device and its mechanism of use.

The course was presented by Assistant Lecturer Sajjad Adnan Khudair, Assistant Lecturer Ali Wasfi Sadiq, and Trainee Veterinarian Karrar Ali Kazim, as part of the college’s efforts to enable its students to acquire modern technical skills and enhance their readiness to enter the labor market.

In his speech, the Dean emphasized that these courses are part of the College’s vision to integrate theory with practical application and prepare graduates with high professional competence capable of keeping pace with developments in various fields of veterinary medicine.
