As part of their practical training, fifth-year students at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala conducted an ultrasound examination of a sheep under the supervision of the department’s faculty.
This practical application aimed to familiarize students with the use of ultrasound equipment in veterinary diagnosis, particularly in detecting reproductive and internal conditions in animals, and to enhance their practical skills in line with modern scientific advancements in veterinary medicine.
The Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al-Kaabi, commended the efforts of the supervising professors, emphasizing that these field applications are an essential part of the college’s plan to develop students’ clinical skills and bridge the gap between theory and practice, thus preparing competent veterinarians capable of serving the community.
