Student Ali Nizar Abdul-Ridha from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala participated in the First Volunteer Work Conference 2025, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The conference was held under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency the Minister, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and with the participation of university presidents, the head of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, and a number of faculty members and students from various Iraqi universities.
The conference honored outstanding volunteer teams from fifty Iraqi universities in recognition of their efforts in establishing a culture of volunteerism and promoting the values of social responsibility.
Student Ali Nizar Abdul-Ridha’s participation underscores the spirit of initiative and giving that characterizes the students of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala, and aligns with the college’s commitment to supporting volunteer activities that reflect the positive image of students in serving the community.
On this occasion, the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Asaad Al-Kaabi, praised the efforts of the college’s students and their active participation in national events, stressing that such activities represent a true extension of the message of education and serving the nation and society.
