To Enhance Practical Training: Veterinary Students Visit Barakat Al-Imam Al-Hussein Poultry Production Company

    As part of the field research activities of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala, the Department of Veterinary Public Health and the Department of Diseases, Poultry and Fish Diseases organized a scientific visit to Barakat Al-Imam Al-Hussein Poultry Production Company. The visit included the hatchery and chicken meat production facilities, and was attended by fourth-year students.

The visit aimed to broaden the students’ understanding of poultry production and to provide them with firsthand experience of the latest technologies used in hatching, breeding, and poultry health care. This will contribute to enhancing their practical experience and connecting theoretical knowledge with practical applications.

The visit was supervised by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Asaad Al-Kaabi, as part of the college’s plan to develop students’ skills and prepare them scientifically and practically to serve the livestock sector in Iraq.
