The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala witnessed the discussion of the Master’s thesis of student Abdul Rahman Thamer Karim from the Department of Anatomy and Histology, entitled:
“Histological Evaluation of the Protective Effects of Horsetail Extract on Bone Marrow in Adult Rabbits Exposed to High Doses of Chloramphenicol”
The study aimed to investigate the potential protective role of horsetail extract against the toxic effects of high doses of chloramphenicol on bone marrow tissue in adult rabbits, using histological examination to evaluate the resulting cellular and structural changes.
The discussion committee consisted of the following professors:

The College of Veterinary Medicine, under the leadership of its Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al-Kaabi, affirms its ongoing commitment to supporting scientific research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge and the enhancement of the academic process.
At the conclusion of the discussion, the committee awarded student Abdul Rahman Karim a Master of Science degree in Veterinary Medicine/Anatomy and Histology with distinction, commending his research efforts and the valuable scientific results he achieved in service of basic sciences.
