The College of Veterinary Medicine Celebrates the Birth Anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) at the Lady Ruqayya Orphanage

         Under the patronage of its Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Asaad Al-Kaabi, the College of Veterinary Medicine organized a field visit to the Lady Ruqayya Orphanage, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her). The visit was organized by the Student Activities Division in cooperation with the Human Rights and Women’s Affairs Units, with the aim of promoting humanitarian values ​​and a spirit of solidarity among students.

The celebration included a welcoming address from the orphanage administration, religious songs, and children’s games, in addition to the distribution of sweets and gifts by faculty and students of the college, which brought joy and happiness to the children. The Dean of the College emphasized that this initiative reflects the college’s mission to serve the community and link knowledge with ethical and social responsibility, drawing inspiration from the life of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) as a model of patience and generosity.

The visit concluded with expressions of gratitude to the kindergarten administration, along with an emphasis on the college’s continued support for social and humanitarian programs in cooperation with relevant institutions.
