The national evaluation team appointed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, has begun its fieldwork at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Diyala to evaluate the Bachelor’s degree programs according to national accreditation standards.
The team is headed by Professor Dr. Mona Hussein Hassan from the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Karbala, underscoring her competence and experience in quality assurance and academic accreditation, and highlighting the University of Karbala’s active participation in national committees.
The team includes a group of specialized professors from various universities who will be auditing scientific and research indicators, reviewing curricula, infrastructure, and the practical training environment.
For his part, the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine University of Kerbala Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al-Kaabi affirmed that the leadership of faculty members from the college in these teams demonstrates the university’s distinguished academic standing and its role in developing academic programs.
The visit aims to enhance the quality of veterinary education and raise the level of graduates in accordance with national accreditation requirements.
