Times Higher Education has released the results of its 2026 Arab University Rankings, which included 268 institutions from 18 countries.
The Times Higher Education website click here confirms that Iraq has the largest representation in the rankings, with 57 Iraqi universities achieving positive results in this edition, which has seen significant competition among Iraqi universities in the Arab region.
This year, the Times Higher Education methodology for evaluating Arab universities is based on the same indicators used in the global university rankings: Teaching (29.5%), Research Environment (29%), Research Quality (30%), International Outlook (7.5%), and Industry (4%).
