The College of Veterinary Medicine held a meeting via Zoom to discuss scientific cooperation with the University of Bucharest

      In the presence of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine the heads of the scientific departments, assistant deans, and a select group of faculty members the College of Veterinary Medicine held a scientific meeting via Zoom with Professor Ahmed Abdel-Azim, Professor of Mycology at the University of Bucharest.

During the meeting, avenues for academic and scientific cooperation were discussed, particularly regarding inviting Professor Ahmed Abdel-Azim as a keynote speaker at the College of Veterinary Medicine’s conference scheduled for next April. Mechanisms for cooperation in scientific publishing were also discussed, given his role as editor-in-chief of a scientific journal indexed in Scopus.

Attendees emphasized the importance of engaging with reputable international universities and strengthening international scientific partnerships, which contribute to the development of scientific research and enhance the academic publication of the college’s faculty.

This meeting reflects the College of Veterinary Medicine’s commitment to expanding international scientific cooperation and attracting global academic expertise, in line with quality standards and international rankings.
