The College of Veterinary Medicine Organizes an Educational Seminar on Student Discipline in Iraqi Universities

      Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kerbala, Professor Sabah Wajid, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Assistant Professor Mohammed Asaad Al-Kaabi, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized an educational seminar entitled “Student Discipline in Iraqi Universities.” This seminar was part of awareness programs aimed at enhancing legal and behavioral awareness among students.

The seminar aimed to familiarize students with the Student Discipline in Iraqi universities, explaining its main articles and procedures, while highlighting university rights and responsibilities and the mechanisms for dealing with student violations according to established legal procedures.

The seminar also addressed the role of psychological counseling and educational guidance in reducing negative behaviors, promoting a healthy university environment, and building student awareness that respects university regulations and reinforces the values ​​of responsibility and discipline.

The seminar was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Murtaja Abdul Jabbar and Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Salman, who provided a comprehensive explanation of the contents of the law and answered students’ inquiries in a constructive and interactive atmosphere.
