The Human Rights Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine, in cooperation with the Scientific Affairs Division, organized a workshop entitled “Towards a Safe Family: The Role of Awareness in Combating Domestic Violence,” under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al-Kaabi.
The workshop aimed to raise awareness of the concept of domestic violence, its forms, and its psychological, social, and legal effects, with a focus on the role of family awareness in preventing violence and building healthy family relationships.
This workshop is part of the awareness activities implemented by the College to support family stability and consolidate a culture of human rights in society.
