The Human Rights Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Kerbala, organized a workshop entitled “Social Security: Definition, Importance, and Objectives.” The workshop aimed to introduce the concept of social security and its role in achieving social justice and promoting economic stability.
The workshop addressed several key topics, including the importance of social security in protecting individuals and vulnerable groups, its objectives in providing social protection and guaranteeing fundamental rights, and its role in supporting sustainable development and building a cohesive society.
This workshop is part of a series of awareness activities implemented by the college to promote a culture of rights and raise community awareness among students and staff.
