The Human Rights Unit, in cooperation with the Scientific Affairs Division at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Kerbala, organized a workshop entitled: “Bullying: Understanding its Effects, Causes, and Ways to Confront It,” with the participation of a group of students and faculty members.
The workshop aimed to introduce the concept of bullying and its types, explain its psychological and social effects, and discuss its potential causes within the family, school, and community environments. It also reviewed methods of prevention and confrontation, and promoted a culture of dialogue and support within the university community.
This event was held under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al-Kaabi, who emphasized the importance of spreading awareness of rights and behavior within the university community and building a supportive and safe educational environment that stimulates creativity and fosters respect for others.
The workshop is part of a series of awareness activities implemented by the college to promote human values, combat negative behaviors, and support the university community both intellectually and behaviorally.
