As part of the practical component of the curriculum, a clinical session on poultry diseases was held for fifth-year students at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Kerbala. The session focused on diagnosing a medical condition in two-day-old broiler chicks.
The session involved conducting a clinical examination and discussing pathological signs, leading to a diagnosis, the formulation of necessary recommendations, and the selection of appropriate treatment. These activities aim to enhance students’ skills in handling clinical cases in the field and to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
The session was supervised by Prof. Dr. Latif Ibrahim Kadhim and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Kadhim Hussein, reflecting the College’s commitment to developing its students’ clinical and practical skills.
This initiative aligns with the efforts of the Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al-Kaabi, to strengthen the practical aspects of veterinary education and equip students with the scientific and professional skills needed to handle clinical cases efficiently.
