The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Dr. Wafaq Jabouri Al-Bazi, and all members of the college extend their congratulations to Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali on the occasion of his assumption of the position of President of the University of Karbala. The President of the University of Karbala, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid, said that we will continue to implement plans aimed at developing the academic and educational process in all colleges and research centers affiliated with it, while appreciating the great efforts made by his predecessor, Prof. Dr. Basem Khalil Al-Saeedi, in serving higher education and the achievements he made during his term as President of the University. For his part, Al-Saeedi expressed his wishes for Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid to succeed in this lofty mission entrusted to him, stressing his continuation in serving the University of Karbala and the educational process from various positions. Al-Bazi said: “We congratulate Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid on assuming the position of President of the University of Karbala, wishing him success in this mission. We will be of assistance to him in raising the name of the University of Karbala high and improving its scientific and academic reality.” In the same context, the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine expressed her thanks and gratitude to Dr. Basem Al-Saeedi for his efforts during his presidency of the University of Karbala and his efforts to raise the name of the university and its scientific status among Arab and international universities.
