The University of Karbala organizes a workshop on the Bologna process to enhance academic quality and international cooperation

             The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, in cooperation with the Department of Registration and Student Affairs at the Presidency of the University, organized a workshop on the “Bologna Path”, in which the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Wifaq Jubouri Al-Bazi, and a number of faculty members of the faculty and the rest of the faculties at the university lectured, in which Dr. Mushtaq Rahim, his accompanying staff and specialists in this field lectured.

The workshop aims to shed light on the Bologna Track program, which is considered one of the European education systems and in turn promotes improving the quality of higher education and compatibility between different international universities, and its importance in unifying education systems and facilitating the movement of students between universities through the adoption of the unified certificate system, and this activity came within the university’s efforts to develop the academic system and achieve international quality standards in higher education.

The workshop included several axes, most notably identifying the requirements of the Bologna track, including the credit hour system, recognition of certificates among European universities, and enhancing research cooperation at the international level.

At the end of the event, the participants expressed their appreciation for the importance of organizing such activities that open new horizons for higher education and contribute to raising the efficiency of the academic system at the local and international levels.

Al-Bazi indicated that this workshop comes within the framework of the university’s vision to develop its academic programs in line with international standards, and that the college continues to organize such scientific activities to enhance its position as a center of excellence in education and scientific research.
