Global Entrepreneurship Week kicks off at the College of Veterinary Medicine – University of Karbala

                       The activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week were launched today at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala, with the participation of a wide range of students, faculty members and college employees, which was launched by the Technology Incubator Division at the University of Karbala under the direct supervision and guidance of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Asaad Al-Kaabi.

The events inaugurated by the President of the University of Karbala, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid, included a series of various activities that focused on promoting the concepts of leadership and innovation in the veterinary field, and included

1- Organizing a scientific debate between students of the fourth and fifth stages in the various fields of veterinary medicine.

2- Delivering a lecture entitled A Success Story presented by Dr. Atheer Al-Kadsawi, who is one of the most prominent veterinarians in the governorate and among the experts in the field of entrepreneurship on how to transform innovative ideas into sustainable projects in the field of veterinary medicine, in addition to discussing the importance of managing small projects in supporting animal and agricultural health.

3- Opening of the exhibition of scientific products The students presented a group of pioneering projects that had been developed, which included innovative ideas to improve the quality of educational services and a statement to enhance awareness of the importance of entrepreneurship in supporting the local economy to enable students to think in a creative way to develop innovative solutions in the field of veterinary medicine. The Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Asaad Al-Kaabi, confirmed that organizing this event comes within the efforts made to enhance the college’s pioneering role in serving society and achieving sustainable development goals by preparing a generation of graduates capable of facing challenges in innovative and effective ways. These activities come within the vision of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala to develop veterinary education and support innovation in this vital field.
