Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Asaad Al-Kaabi, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College organized a field visit to the Karbala Sons School for Orphans in a humanitarian initiative to provide moral support to orphaned children and enhance their sense of importance as part of society.
The visit aimed to instill a spirit of hope and optimism among children by sending encouraging messages highlighting their value and important role in building the future, and the visit included multiple activities that included the distribution of gifts and sweets, in addition to asking motivational questions to enhance their self-confidence and show their potential.
The event witnessed great interaction from children who expressed their joy and happiness with this humanitarian initiative. The organizers of the activity stressed that this visit comes within the framework of the social responsibility adopted by the college to strengthen human ties with the local community, especially with groups that need support and care.
Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al Kaabi praised the efforts made to organize this initiative, stressing the importance of such activities in achieving social solidarity and providing a positive model that reflects the role of educational institutions in serving the community.
