The Surgery and Obstetrics Department at the College of Veterinary Medicine performs a surgery on a Persian cat as part of the free services for the animal field.

               Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Saleh, the Surgery and Obstetrics Department conducted a surgical procedure to sterilize a Persian cat belonging to a citizen, as part of the free veterinary services offered by the animal field at the college.

The operation was carried out under the supervision of Dr. Falah Mahmoud Hamid and with the participation of fifth-year students, utilizing the latest veterinary surgical methods in the operating room and employing advanced sterilization techniques to ensure the animal’s safety.

These actions are part of the college’s efforts to provide veterinary services to the community and enhance the practical aspect for its students by involving them in field surgical operations, which contributes to the development of their practical skills and better prepares them for the veterinary job market.
