The Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammad Asad Saleh Al-Kaabi, received a student delegation from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Al-Qasim Al-Khadra University, which included a number of postgraduate students, and a number of professors specialized in the field of veterinary medicine.
This field visit aims to strengthen the frameworks of scientific cooperation between the colleges of veterinary medicine and to learn about the research and educational reality of the college, in addition to exchanging experiences between the two parties. The visit also contributes to enhancing the scientific interest of postgraduate students by familiarizing them with the modern devices and equipment used in peer colleges.
The visit included a field tour that included educational laboratories, the research laboratory unit and the electron microscope unit, where they were briefed on the mechanism of work of the microscope and its importance in the biological, medical and engineering fields. A detailed explanation was provided by Prof. Dr. Hussein Bashar about the mechanism of the electron microscope, with practical examinations of various samples in front of the students to enhance their applied understanding of this advanced technology.
At the end of the visit, the delegation expressed their gratitude for the good reception and the great scientific benefit they achieved from this tour, stressing the importance of continuing such scientific visits that open new horizons for research cooperation and knowledge exchange between Iraqi universities.
