Under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammad Asaad Saleh Al-Kaabi, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University organized an awareness seminar entitled Bacterial and viral diseases that affect women, within the framework of the prevention and protection pillar with the aim of enhancing health awareness and reducing the risk of infection, lectured by Assistant lecturer Hasnaa Saeed Mohsen and attended by a number of female affiliates of the college.
The seminar aims to educate women about the bacterial and viral diseases that may affect them and introduce them to their symptoms and methods of transmission, in addition to promoting health education about ways to prevent them, highlighting the importance of periodic laboratory tests for early detection of diseases, and taking the necessary preventive measures to limit the spread of infection, within the framework of promoting public health and protecting women and society.
The seminar included several topics, including bacterial and viral diseases that affect women, and the most prominent symptoms associated with them, in addition to providing practical guidance on how to deal with and prevent these diseases. The lecture also reviewed the importance of periodic laboratory tests and their role in the early detection of diseases, which contributes to minimizing the risk of infection and possible complications.
