The Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Asaad Al-Kaabi, expresses his deepest condolences to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), Imam al-Hijjah (may Allah hasten his return), our great authorities and the entire Islamic nation, especially the faculty, staff and students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Amir al-Mu’minin, Yasub al-Din, Imam of the pious, the leader of the unfortunate, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him), on the anniversary of his martyrdom.
With his martyrdom, Islam has lost one of its pillars, and a man whose example in asceticism, justice, courage, and devotion to God and His Messenger (peace be upon him and his family) is unknown to history. As we commemorate this painful anniversary, we recall his fragrant biography, which was and still is a school for free people in every time and place.
May peace be upon him on the day he was born in the house of God, on the day he was martyred in his shrine, and on the day he is resurrected alive.
May Allah grant us and you the greatest reward, and inspire us and you to follow his righteous path.
