The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, has directed all universities to take urgent measures to ensure the administrative and scientific benefits of new appointees in higher education and scientific research institutions.
In this context, the Minister of Education approved the referral of the unprocessed files of graduate students of the new appointees to the Research and Development Department, enabling teachers to enjoy the summer vacation, and involving those who hold a doctoral degree in this category in scientific committees and supervising graduate students and discussion committees.
He also directed the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to count the previous service of new appointees for the purposes of scientific promotion, advancement, and retirement, to ensure that their career path is enhanced.
In a related context, Dr. Aboudi instructed the Administrative and Financial Department to launch a new electronic platform for the redistribution of new appointees according to geographical location and scientific specialization.
