The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi has decided to allow students who graduated from preparatory school in the 2024/2023 academic year with a grade point average of at least 90 and who were born in 1995 onwards to apply for central admission for the 2026/2025 academic year in all government and private specialisations as an exception to the age requirement in recognition of their academic excellence and in appreciation of their academic aspirations.
In the same context, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, issued a decision to include students in the pre-final stages who will be promoted to the academic year 2025/2024 with a year of non-failure, in order to address emergency cases that prevented them from successfully passing the academic year.
In this regard, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research affirms that the decisions come within the context of its strategy aimed at empowering students, motivating high achievers and overcoming obstacles for all segments of students, thereby reinforcing its mission and academic goals.
