The College of Veterinary Medicine organized a training course entitled (IMAGE J)

Under the Supervision of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Bassem Khalil Nayel and the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Wefaq Al-Bazi The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala, within the framework of the scientific activities of the Continuing Education Division, held a free training course entitled (IMAGE J)in the college’s research laboratory with the participation of a number of researchers. It was lectured by Assistant Prof. Dr. Hussein Bashar, Dr. Raed Abdul-Mahdi, and Dr. Fateh Odeh.
The course aimed to train participants on the microstructure image processing program, as well as calculating area statistics and pixel value for user-defined selections, as well as measuring distances and angles, and many other valuable functions.
Image J can provide a graphical user interface with comprehensive commands for image analysis. Images can also be viewed, edited, analyzed, processed, saved and printed, whether using 8, 16 or 32 bits. It can also read many different image file formats, such as TIFF, GIF, JPE..
