A visit of a ministerial committee to develop postgraduate studies for the Anatomy branch at the College of Veterinary Medicine

The Deanship of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala received a ministerial committee formed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the purpose of follow-up and review of the capabilities and ingredients of the college to conduct postgraduate studies in the branch of Anatomy and Histology (Master’s graduation).

They were received by the Dean of the College, Prof. Wefaq Jabouri Al-Bazi, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Kadhum Saleh Kadhum , and the Head of the Anatomy and Histology Branch, Assistant Prof. Dr. Walaa Fadel Obaid.

The Ministerial Committee included .:
1- Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdel-Khaleq Hussein, President
2- Prof. Rafid Muhammad Ali as a member
3- Prof. Dr. Walid Jalil Abdel Hamza, member
4- Prof. Dr. Alaa Hussein Saadoun, member

The visit aimed to see the human and material potentials in order to open postgraduate studies (Masters) in the anatomy and histology branch to be part of the scientific and academic development in the college and in order to prepare academic researchers with a master’s degree in veterinary medicine for the anatomy and histology branch.

The committee’s work included filling out the required lists by reviewing the special components of the branch for the development of the study through a field tour in the corridors of the college, reviewing the branch’s teaching staff with scientific titles, and touring the classrooms, laboratories and discussion room and their suitability for the development of studies.
