The College of Veterinary Medicine organized a training course entitled (Viral Hemorrhagic Fever)

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Bassem Al-Saidi, President of Kerbala University and Prof. Dr. Wefaq Jabouri Al-Bazi, the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Continuios Education Division, in cooperation with the Internal and Preventive Medicine Branch, organized a training course entitled Viral Hemorrhagic Fever, which lasted for five days for the period from 23-27/1/ 2022 with the participation of the professors and staff of the College , in addition to a number of employees of the veterinary hospital and veterinary clinics in the governorate. It was introduced by Assistant Prof. Dr. Ehab Ghazi Mahdi, Assistant Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asaad Saleh, Assistant Prof. Dr. Ali Hussein Fadel, and Lec. Dr. Safa Tawfiq Wahib.

The training course aimed to identify the most important harmful diseases such as viruses, bacteria and parasites to humans and animals alike and to highlight how the Centers for Disease Control work continuously to follow them, and to discuss ways, prevention and control to protect humans.


It included an explanation of the most important and existing transmissible diseases, of which a number of cases were recorded, hemorrhagic fever, where the most important types of hemorrhagic fever causes, methods of transmission, clinical signs in animals and humans, and ways to prevent and control this disease were identified.

At the end of the training course, participation certificates were distributed to the participants by Prof. Dr. Wefaq Jabouri Al-Bazi, Dean of the College, and Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Ali Muhammad, the Administrative Assistant at the College
