The College of Veterinary Medicine at Kerbala University has concluded the training course on combating narcotics and psychotropic effects on Thursday, 17/3/2022.
In cooperation with the Directorate of National Security in the governorate, the activities of the training course held by the Continuing Education and Student Activities Divisions and the Psychological and Educational Counseling Unit.
The training course lasted for five days. It has dealt with many axes, including identifying the types of drugs and their medical impact, as well as the legal materials for punishing drug users or their promoters, and the effect of drugs on the social and economic aspects of society.
The Professors, employees and students of the College of Veterinary Medicine participated on the training course. In addition, number of employees of the General Veterinary Hospital and the Directorate of Agriculture in the governorate participated on the training course.
