Under the sponsorship and supervision of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Wefaq Jabouri Al-Bazi, the Student Activities Division, in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the college, organized a workshop entitled (Psychological Counseling). The Professor Ali Al-Saadawi/ Head of the Mental Health Unit in Hindia Sector and Mrs.Aya Abbas and College of Veterinary Medicine, presents the lecture at the discussion hall. Number of the staff and students of the college participated on the workshop.
The workshop aims to clarify the concept and importance of psychological counseling for individuals and to encourage the adoption of scientific psychological counseling steps.
The workshop included some practical exercises for the purpose of clarifying the importance of psychological counseling and explaining the great role of the counsellor. The workshop also touched on explaining the steps of psychological counseling and how to choose the counselor.
The course included a number of practical exercises and substantive discussions. The lecturer Al-Saadawi, referred to academic guidance and how to provide counseling and educational guidance to students to reach the best results.
