The College Of Veterinary Medicine Organizes The Seventh Scientific Conference To Discuss The Graduation Research Of Undergraduate Students for academic year 2021-2022

      In the presence of the President of Karbala University, Prof. Bassem Khalil Nayel and Prof. Negm Abdul-Hussein Negm, Vice President of the University for Scientific Affairs, and the Dean of the College, Prof. Wefaq Al-Bazi, organized the seventh scientific conference to discuss the graduation research of the primary studies students in the college, with the participation of a number of faculty and graduate students, and in the discussion hall in the college.

  The conference aims to direct the student’s interest in actively participating in addressing the problems facing livestock through discreet scientific research, intellectual creativity, and instilling a spirit of competition and determination among students in the service of our dear country.

     The conference was opened with a recitation of the Holy Quran and the national anthem was played. The Dean of the College opened the conference by giving her speech after welcoming the distinguished guests and explaining the mechanism for discussing research and distributing it to the discussion rooms. The President of the University also gave a speech on this occasion in which he commended the students during their participation in research in the Student Scientific Conference and the support of the scientific process through the students’ contribution to veterinary research for the purpose of raising the level of higher education and putting its outputs in the service of society.

   The conference included a discussion of (40) applied and academic scientific research, and the research was divided into (5) committees formed from professors of the college in various specializations.

       Al-Bazi praised the exerted efforts by the students and the supervising professors for completing the research of the conference in order to instil the spirit of competition among the students and to provide the best achievements to advance the country’s economy for the better.

   The winning research for the two axes was also announced, which is the joint research for students Mohammed Saleh Kazem, Zahraa Rafe Hamid, Ghaith Mohsen Abd Ali Under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Saleh Al Kaabi. and the title of the research: (Hematological, Biochemical, Microbiological and Histopathological effect of commercial organic acid blends (Keprofix Oral) on male dog).
