The participation of a professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine on a scientific assessment committee at the University of Basra.

Professor Latif Ibrahim Kazem, a teaching professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala, participated as the Chairman of the Organizing Committee within the Sixth Student Scientific Conference for the academic year 2021-2022 for Iraqi Veterinary Colleges to discuss students’ graduation researches, which was set up by the Education Quality Improvement Council of Veterinary Colleges in Iraq, which was held on the campus of Basra University.

     The Iraqi faculties of Veterinary Medicine participated in the conference, where the number of researches participating on the conference was 14, 9 in attendance and 5 online.

     This conference is one of the student activities that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research pays great attention to within an integrated strategic plan, as it works to enrich the student’s personality by taking advantage of the researchers’ visions and providing the opportunity for participating students and enhancing their research capabilities to create a state of competition among them to choose the best research and spread the spirit of scientific creativity and motivate them to discover their scientific and cognitive energies.
