A Ph.D. dissertation in the Department of Biology / College of Science at the University of Al-Kufa examined the impact of dietary supplements on embryological and maternal development in Albino rats.
The professor Mona Hussein Hassan, at the University of Karbala, participated on f the discussion committee. The thesis submitted by student Azhar Shia Younis aimed to study the effects of using Diclofenac drug as a pain reliever for pregnant women and fetuses, and the importance of using vitamin C as an antioxidant for the purpose of reducing the damage caused by the drug.
