Under the supervision of prof. Dr. Kadhem Saleh Kadhem, Prof. Dr. Ali Hussain Fadel and Prof.Dr. Assad Khalaf Talal, the Branch of Public Health at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala organized a field visit for postgraduate students in the college to the Karbala typical butchery.
This visit comes based on the memorandum of understanding between our college, the Directorate of Agriculture in Karbala, and the veterinary hospital in Karbala. During the visit, the students have got acquainted with the units and departments affiliated to Karbala typical butchery.
In addition, the students have got acquainted with the mechanisms of the work and the role of the veterinarian in the butchery and how to treat water pollution resulting during the butchering process.
