Under the patronage and supervision of Prof. Dr. Wefaq Jubouri Al-Bazi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala, and in cooperation with the Directorate of Agriculture in the Holy Karbala, the students of the College began a voluntary campaign to plant trees in the College gardens and the animal field with a number of various trees which were donated by the Directorate of Agriculture keeping pace on the principle of cooperation between state institutions. This voluntary initiation aims to increase green spaces, achieve sustainable development and reduce desertification.
Al-Bazi referred that the College continues its campaigns to plant trees, plants and roses in order to obtain green spaces in the College and contribute to improving the University environment. Actually, such a students’ voluntary campaign is considered part of the requirements of providing an appropriate educational environment for our students.
