The President of the University of Karbala, Prof. Dr. Basim Khalil Nayel Al-Saeedi has inspected the work of developing the research laboratory in the College of Veterinary Medicine, to get aquatinted with the reality of the work and what has been achieved in terms of achievement rates, accompanied by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Wefaq Al-Bazi and the Dean of the College of Education, the Coordinator of the Ministerial Committee, SMC Assistant Prof. Dr. Baqer Al-Ardhi, and a number of engineering staff at the University.
The visit included an inspection of the rehabilitation work of the research laboratory, whose maintenance work was carried out in cooperation between the Higher Ministerial Committee overseeing the development of the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Safety and Security Program (SMC) and the Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) and in cooperation with the Biological Threat Reduction Program (BTRP).
Within his inspection visit of the maintenance work Al-Saeedi remarked that the University of Karbala seeks to provide an appropriate study environment for the student of University, which reflects positively on his scientific and academic level by working to create scientific laboratories equipped with the latest equipment. Al-Saeedi presented his thanks for the exerted efforts made by the supporting authorities to develop the research laboratory. Finally, Al-Saeedi directed some engineering notes to be included in the laboratory development agenda, which has stretched to the closing stages.
