Under the auspices and supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Wafaq Al-Bazi, the Division of Continuing Education in the College of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University organized a training course entitled: (PCR Device: Types and Work Mechanism). For three days, the training course lectured by the lecturer Hesnaa Saeed Mohsen and held in the discussion hall in the College with the participation of a number of researchers.
The training course aims to get acquainted with the technology of the PCR device, its types and work method, in addition to knowing how to prepare and organize its components, adjust them, and read the results and problems that confronting the researcher during his work.
The curriculum of the training course on the first day included getting to know the PCR device, its components, types, and how to extract DNA, and on the second day, knowing the work method of the device and organizing and controlling its components. As for the final day, the method of identifying how to read the results and the most important problems facing the researcher during his work was explained, along with identifying how to carry out the Electrophoresis process in the PCR device.
