The visit of a ministerial committee formed to open postgraduate studies in the Branch of Internal and Preventive Medicine in the College of Veterinary Medicine.

The Deanship of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala received a ministerial committee formed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the purpose of following-up and knowing about the capabilities and components of the College to open postgraduate studies (Master) in the branch of internal and preventive medicine.

The delegation were received by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Wafaq Al-Bazi, and the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Ihab Ghazi Mahdi, and the Head of the Branch of Internal and Preventive Medicine, Prof. Dr. Asaad Khalaf Talal and a number of the teachers in the Branch.

The visit of ministerial committee aims to get acquaintance with the human and material capabilities to open Master studies in the Branch of Internal Medicine to be part of the system of scientific and academic development in the College. In addition, the visit of ministerial committee aims to prepare academic researchers holding a master’s degree in the field of Internal and Preventive Veterinary medicine.

The work of the Committee included filling out the required lists by examining the special components of the Branch for the development of the study through the field tour in the corridors of the College and seeing the teaching staff of the Branch who hold scientific titles, and touring the classrooms, laboratories, the discussion hall and the Unit of Electron Microscope.
