Work Mechanism of the Division of Human Resources Management in the College of Veterinary Medicine.

         The work of the Human Resources Division in the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala is specified within certain tasks:

  • Planning and organizing the administrative affairs of the college and following up workflow.
  • Taking what is necessary to achieve the best possible formulas in administrative work practice.
  • Implementation of the Civil Service Law, the University Service Law No. 23 of 2008, the Salaries of State and Public Sector Employees Law No. 22 of 2008, the Unified Retirement Law No. 27 of 2007 as amended, the Law of Discipline of State Employees and its amendments as far as it is concerned with workers, including employees and teachers in the College.
  • Follow-up and implementation of orders and instructions issued by the Presidency of the University of Karbala.
  • Issuing the administrative orders for granting regular and sick leave to faculty members according to their entitlements, taking into account the rules of Civil Service Law No. 24 of 1960 as amended, the rules of the University Service Law and the instructions issued according to it.
  • Receiving mail of the College.
  • Follow-up the ages of the teaching staff and employees according to the decisions to confirm their ages issued and preserved in their personal files. And addressing the presidency of the University of Karbala for the purpose of referring them to retirement in accordance with the University Service Law No. 23 of 2008 for teachers.
  • Follow-up the unified retirement law for employees, issuing separation orders, and approaching the retirement authority after organizing the service document (which includes its full service) for the purpose of allocating the pension.
  • Follow-up of the working hours of teachers and employees and the implementation of the instructions of the Civil Service Law against those who are absent from working hours.
